The KDL-XBR9’s picture quality competes well with 2009’s best conventional LCDs. As well has having deep blacks for those dark scenes in those horror movies we know and love, it sports a 240Hz refresh rate, giving excellent motion resolution for watching sports and also great for action scenes. If you’re a boxing or martial-arts fan, you can actually see those kicks and punches as opposed to a blur that you make sense of after the opponent gets knocked out.
